For those in the Seattle area, I wanted to call your attention to some baseball author appearances coming up.

Ken Proctor will be appearing at the new Barnes & Noble at Northgate on Thursday, November 8th at 7pm. He’ll be talking about his book Baseball: Memories of a Lifetime.

I’ve also heard that he’ll be at the Southcenter Barnes & Noble on Saturday 11/3 – as soon as I get confirmation, I’ll post it here.

Dr. Adrian Burgos will be talking about his book Playing America’s Game: Baseball, Latinos, and the Color Line at Elliott Bay Book Company on Friday, Nov. 16th at 7:30pm, and at Jackson St. Books on Saturday. Nov. 17th at 7pm.
